Cute modules & Ultimate spiritual questions RELATED?
Sometimes squidoo is very surprising. The explore related pages bit seems a bit off in this screenshot of my lens on the ultimate spiritual and religious questions:
The first lens referred to there is my lens about squidoo modules. Don’t get me wrong: I think that’s a great lens, but why is it referenced there? The two topics have nothing in common.
What they have in common is all the tags – (not anymore as I fixed it). A squidoo glitch: both lenses are by yours truly and sometimes squidoo just forgets about the tags we put in and uses tags used on a random lens by that same lensmaster. In this case the choices couldn’t be more wrong.
Lesson learned? Take glitches as a hint that something is wrong & fix it. I started this post thinking squidoo had changed their algorithm on explore related lenses. Instead it’s an old bug with annoying consequences.

I sometimes get the weird occurence of opening one my lenses and seeing the URL of a different lens on my browser.

I get the opposite right after publishing: the lens I wanted to see doesn’t show up (though the URL does), but the lens I just published is shown. It’s just one of those squidoo quirks.
