Sometimes a question from a loyal reader can bring out a lens. I created a lens today about keyword research: how to find that precise topic for your (money making) lens.

It turns out that google does index and follow links on profile pages – even if there are more than a 100 links on that page. They said so themselves a bit after I blogged to watch out for this issue.

I just tried out the new Amazon search module on my 2009 Spiritual Calendars lens. Obviously the main intent of this lens is to sell calendars. I found calendars on cafepress, amazon and all posters.com. But the pictures in the amazon search modules are so small, I wonder if they will sell at all…

Finding key words that are popular, but haven’t been covered by other websites and lenses yet
Making excellent lenses on a subject you are really into – even though there may already be a lot of information out there on the topic

I just had to say this. Trying to dispel a myth here.
It is NO use to submit your squidoo lens (or blog or website) in google. It is a waste of time.
I don’t know about yahoo and MSN, perhaps submitting your lens (or website or blog) there gets it traffic, but in google [...]
