I can't imagine using software. I've used my pc for notes (key words, url lists etc) - a lot. but dates and appointments, those I need on paper. And even to-do lists go on paper. Have to be portable & easy to put something into.

My dad got very frustrated with me one year when he gave me an electronic planner/datebook type thing (I guess it was an early PDA), and I didn't like it. I told him that I really had no use for one.

I downloaded some kind of planner to my laptop last year. I thought that I could use it to organize my time online to be more productive, but that didn't happen. :P

Well, there are some decent agenda books out there, but there's a lot of junk too - and the information you need to decide which to buy is often missing as well. On my lenses I've added only those products where I knew what was what, to help people decide. But really, there seems to be a lot of room in the market for better products :)

Using paper myself btw - but a Dutch organiser, dated :)

You['ve probably hit the nail on the head and it explains why I never used a planner until I was working, even then it was useless much of the time. We just make one or two word notations I guess. Now it seems people use their PDA's, laptops and such most often. (I'm old, I still prefer paper)
